Today was a transition day. Moving from walking everyday back to travel mode. Taxi a good long way to the nearest relevant train station in Capdenac, then 2 trains to get to Perigueux, the capitol city of the Dordogne. All went smoothly and I got to my hotel around 6:00pm. After a shower, off to find dinner. A brief walk into the old town located many possibilities, I chose one and had a good meal. This area is famous for Foie Gras, duck and truffles. Had some of the foie but the duck and truffles will have to wait till tomorrow. Much warmer here, in the 60s than the last few weeks.
